Individuals were notified in December 2022 and received either $100, $250, or $500 depending on when their names were selected during the random nationwide drawing.

Two APhA–ASP Chapters were chosen to win the chapter-level rewards:

  • $750 winner: Wilkes University Nesbitt School of Pharmacy
  • $1,500 winner: Creighton University School of Pharmacy and Health Professions

The two schools were notified in December 2022 and received their monies in January 2023 to use at their discretion.

In addition to the cash rewards, chapters that met and exceeded their recruitment earned savings on the APhA2023 Annual Meeting & Exposition via a discount on their APhA2023 registration fee.

About the Fall Membership Drive goals and incentives

The revamped goals and incentive structure promoted APhA–ASP’s benefits and recognized chapters with outstanding recruiting results. This new initiative incorporated goals and incentives for spreading the word about APhA–ASP. Chapters that met and exceeded their 40% or 60% enrollment goals were eligible to be included in the cash prize drawings. Active student pharmacist members who are part of those high-achieving chapters were automatically entered for the nationwide individual award drawing, from which 14 names were chosen. APhA–ASP applauds the recruiting efforts and successes of those who qualified to win!

The 2022 Fall Membership Drive goals were based on the enrollment of on-campus 2022 fall semester professional students. This included pre-pharmacy students and professional student pharmacists not in their final year. Transitioning members were not counted toward campaign progress.

Congratulations again to our winners! APhA–ASP values all our members, and we are honored to reward our chapters and student pharmacists for promoting the academy.
