APhA Seeks Candidates for the 2019 APhA Election
The American Pharmacists Association (APhA) announced a call for candidates in the 2019 APhA Board of Trustees, APhA Academy of Pharmacy Practice and Management (APhA-APPM) and APhA Academy of Pharmaceutical Research and Science (APhA-APRS) Election cycle. Applications are now available at www.pharmacist.com/elections. Interested candidates must submit the online application by October 1, 2018.
“We value the input and guidance provided by our volunteer leaders as we navigate the challenges and opportunities within a reforming healthcare system. Putting oneself up for election can be a very rewarding and fulfilling experience and we encourage all members to consider how they can help advance the Association’s mission,” said APhA Executive Vice President and CEO Tom Menighan.

APhA-APPM is seeking members to serve on the Executive Committee, including Member-at-Large (3 positions) and President-elect. APhA-APPM is also seeking members to serve as Coordinator-elect for the following Special Interest Groups (SIGs): Compounding, Diabetes Management, Immunizing Pharmacists, Medical Home/ACO, Medication Management, Nuclear Pharmacy Practice, Preceptor, and Transitions of Care.
