QuickChek to close pharmacies in 9 NJ stores, sell 1 store in deal with CVS

The QuickChek locations with pharmacy departments that are set to close later this month are Bayonne, Beachwood, Ewing, Fords section of Woodbridge, North Bergen, Passaic, Point Pleasant, Scotch Plains, and Totowa. Additionally, the QuickChek in Washington, Warren County, will be sold to and then operated by CVS Health. "CVS Pharmacy will continue to meet the pharmacy and health care needs of our customers, as well as provide career opportunities for our pharmacy team members," said QuickChek Director of Pharmacy Mike Wunder. QuickChek, which has 159 locations in New Jersey and New York, has opened eight locations in the past 10 months and plans to open another eight stores in the coming year.
