Kadesh Inc. has launched a voluntary recall of all lots of Puriton Eye Relief Drops, 0.5 oz (15 ml) bottle to the consumer. FDA investigators noted during a recent inspection that ophthalmic drugs were manufactured without necessary production controls and conditions to guarantee sterility.

FDA investigators noted during a recent inspection that ophthalmic drugs were manufactured without necessary production controls and conditions to guarantee sterility. Kadesh has not received any reports of adverse events related to the recall thus far. The OTC homeopathic eye drop is used for the temporary relief of burning and irritation due to dryness or the eye and discomfort due to minor irritations of the eye or to exposure to the wind or sun.
