The mission of the Board Certified Pharmacists Community is to define APhA's vision through the development of thoughtful programming, advocacy, publications and guidance documents, and networking that will result in the advancement and success of pharmacy and non-pharmacy specific board-certified pharmacist leaders and practitioners.
The Board Certified Pharmacists Community will develop tactics and promote engagement that support APhA’s vision and strategic plan pertaining to board certified pharmacists. Further, the Community will provide ad hoc strategic direction on contemporary issues affecting pharmacy and non-pharmacy specific board certification, commission focus groups or task forces as necessary and evaluate the progress of any initiative that it creates.
