Six years with APhA has taught me how to speak when it would be easier to stay quiet, how to lead with empathy when the room is divided, how to keep going when plans change, and how to turn setbacks into fuel.

As the Class of 2026 prepares for their next steps, I thought it might be helpful to offer some friendly advice from a recent graduate who stumbled more than a few times along the way.

My journey has been shaped by perseverance, guided by curiosity, and propelled by the courage to take bold steps toward an evolving future—one made possible by the unwavering support of my family and mentors.
